My Review
I can’t remember if I’ve read this author before or not, but the writing style feels like something I’ve known before.
I think I would gain a better understanding of the character had I read the previous books, to watch and feel this character grow, and understand their reasoning more.
The references to Wales has me dreaming of places to visit in the future.
Certainly a touch of present day relevancy involved but not enough to depress you. Great stand alone book, but I think I’m going to dive in and start at the beginning to see how they are the way they are.
