My voice is finally coming back Yay!! And my sense of smell is becoming normal too. Coughing is down to a minimum and the general woolly head feeling is slowly going.

Day 18 Awoken with nagging deep pain at 3.30am but taking a tramadol soon helped. I have a sneaky suspicion it’s me rawling at night?? Or is it increased physio? I’m unsure, but it’s definitely an awful pain. So saying that I’m still in less pain that before surgery so it’s still a win.

Day 19 omg it is me!! I’ve woken myself up, trying to twist and turn over in the night, no wonder it’s so painful. And I’ve caught myself almost crossing my legs!! Why is my brain trying to sabotage me??. I’m going to have to try and stop myself somehow.

To get out and about we had a drive to the Peak District to a place we usually walk. Just to soak in the countryside and ground ourselves.

Day 20 Found a sleeping position, so I’ve managed a whole night not moving and hurting the hip, and it feels so much better for it too. But everywhere I read says not to do it though? Well it’s not causing pain and I’m actually getting sleep so I’m saying it’s a win.

Day 21 Woohoo 3 weeks. Which means only 7 injections left. Actually make it sound bad, but they’ve been ok really. And Mr Moon does them so well too. I’m still wearing stockings though I was told I could remove them once home. I’ve had a dvt so I’m not in a rush to take them off. Thigh pain ever present but certainly duller now I am sleeping a bit better.
