#SelfIsolation Third Onto the Fourth Week

As our third week is ending, and we are going onto our fourth.

I’ve watched a lot of Netflix while resting hips and hands (both have flared up massively this last week) along with daily headaches??

So I’ve binged all #TigerKing

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, titled onscreen as simply Tiger King, is a 2020 true crime documentary miniseries about the life of zookeeper Joe Exotic. The series focuses on the small but deeply interconnected society of Big Cat conservationists like Carole Baskin, owner of Big Cat Rescue, and collectors such as Joe Exotic, whom Baskin accuses of abusing and exploiting wild animals. It gets Wild.

It was BONKERS, but I enjoyed it.

#Freud

While investigating several disappearances and murders in Vienna, young Sigmund Freud and a psychic medium become entangled in an occult conspiracy.

I LOVED this, it’s German but easy to follow subtitles (best thing about netflix) it was dark, mysterious and supernatural.

#HowToFixADrugScandal

Two drug lab chemists’ crimes cripple a state’s judicial system and blur the lines of justice for lawyers, officials and thousands of prison inmates.

I thought Tiger King was NUTS but this was way more intense and crazy!!

Now what else can I watch I wonder?

The Moon Killer (Inspector Dawes #5) by Frances Lloyd

SIX VICTIMS . . . ONE VERY TWISTED MURDER METHOD.

FROM BEST-SELLING AUTHOR FRANCES LLOYD

A series of apparently motiveless murders in London.

The only thing linking them is the method — all the victims are killed in a very unusual way.

Detective Inspector Jack Dawes and his sidekick, Detective Sergeant “Bugsy” Malone, face their most baffling case yet.

They discover that the victims do have a connection. And all the murders take place during the night of a full moon.

The Murder Investigation Team call on the assistance of a psychological profiler, the tall, extremely athletic, Cressida Davenport.

Based on her work, the detectives take a huge risk, putting one of their team’s lives at stake to lure the murderer out of hiding.

WHY DOES THE KILLER USE THIS BIZARRE M.O.?

Discover one of the most enjoyable and gripping murder mysteries you’ll read this year!

My Review

What a bizarre MO, very unique and I can honestly say I’ve not read one like it before. Weird twist

From the off I was gripped, and what perfect timing as the story kicks off on Good Friday which we’ve just had too. And the Pink Full Moon.

I definitely would read more, the writing style was dark and gritty, and I felt part of the London underworld at times. The police are gruff and stereotypical but I felt warmth and familiarity with it.

I think I loved the pathologist the most, so dry and stern. This was an Easter treat, reading in the sunshine, with rum and pineapple, I could of been anywhere. Totally lost in the story.

As you can guess, Physio is cancelled at the hospital. Which I am obviously sad about, but it’s understandable too.

As we go through this third week, things are getting into a steady routine, fitness is going well, and at least once a week we are doing a walk outside.

As you can see, it’s peaceful and relaxing. We also saw so many Peacock butterflies along the way too.

The Bosu ball is keeping me fully active at home. Not just for lower limbs like I’d do at Physio at Hospital. But I’m even doing some arm work, via tricep dips and press ups. It’s very versatile.

Some exercises to give you an idea, I bought my ball from #Aldi and it was £25.99 I believe it’s even cheaper now. The official ones are well over £100. But this feels exactly like the hospital one.

My newest exercise is mountain climbers. Not at a fast rate, but slow and learning to lift the knee up. Building the range of motion up.

14 weeks #Etoricoxib

Onto starting my third month of these, my second month at 90mg dose. And I am seeing and feeling an overall better relief. I have 8 left but ordered more, and I’m hoping they stay available.

It’s not a total relief, but better. Although this last week, I’ve found my #Arthritis as a whole has massively flared up, probably triggered from poorer sleeping, the time of the month!! As this makes all my joints super loose, thanks to #EhlersDanlosSyndrome

Joint slipped out again recently, so I spent the night wide awake, feeling like the thumb was being crushed! Only ice and freeze gel got me through the night, with lots of tears too.

I would take the 8 paracetamol I’m meant too, but the world went mad, and there’s never any available. So I’m rationing the ones I have.

And like others, I have no chance of any treatments either, as all OT, Physio and Micats are cancelled.
