April #LookFantastic Beauty Box

Archive, Beauty Boxes, Blogger Reviews, Events, Covid 19 Week Four, Covid-19 Lockdown, Make Up, Beauty, Skincare

Yay it’s beauty box time, and what a perfect pick me up, it’s very much needed and wanted.

Cute spring colours, I love this box. I’m sure to keep it.

As soon as I saw #Ameliorate in I was super excited. It’s a cream I buy over and over again. I usually buy 200ml which is too big to carry around so this at 30ml is brilliant. Rrp £4 For 30ml

Especially made for keratosis Pilaris this is the dry bumpy skin on your upperarms. It uses magic acid to get rid of dry skin cells and reveal renewed healthy skin. I use this on my legs, as surgery has left them dry and feeling blah. The only cream I’ve found to work on them.

#Starskin 100% Camellia 2 step oil sheet mask Rrp £9.00

Getting our glow back with a 2 step facial sheet mask, put the oil on first to massage into skin, to target dry patches, revive dull skin and soothe into radiance. Then put the sheet mask and relax for 15mins.

#VintageCosmeticsCompany Tweezers Rrp £8.00 I actually needed these, so it’s great timing. A brilliant slant so I know they will be as precise as I need them to be.

#Minetan Coffee Scrub 30g Rrp £9.95

Getting a caffeine kick in a different way? Exfoliate from head to toe with this caffeine scrub, perfect prep for tanning. Or just to feel summer ready.

#BellaPierre Peach Blossom Palette Rrp £28.99

Made exclusively for look fantastic it’s a small palette with 3 shimmer and 1 matte, weightless and bendable the shadows feel lovely. Perfect size for a handbag and with handy mirror too.

#ErnoLazlo Hydraphel skin supplement 15ml Rrp £5.58

A calming toner for dry and sensitive skin. It will hydrate and repair your complexion after your cleansing routine. I have tried these before and always loved them. Cooling and nourishing I find them.

Sneak Peek for next month. Is a HOLY GRAIL item I love. I swear it saved my skin in Rhodes in 2018. It’s #Avant Ultimate Hyaluronic Acid Resurfacing Duo Moisturiser RRP £100 For 50ml. So there’s no better time to join.

#ADGIFTED These items are kindly gifted, as I’m on a PR list. I choose to share and review them and all words and opinions are my own. I do have an affiliate code 30% off SIRENMOONBEE which would pay me a commission if someone buys, this does not cost you anything at all extra.

For my PR credit this time round I decided to get 2 items I’ve already had before, simply because I can’t live my life without them.

The top HOLY GRAIL item is Slay Away The Day make up removing balm. I got the Lavender one, I’d previously had Rose. You can buy here

These balms are so soft on the skin, none of that stripped kin feeling I get with other make up removers, it’s so gentle that my sensitive skin feels nourished and protected especially during the colder months.

Next up was a Second Hoodie I couldn’t resist. I literally wear mine all the time, it’s so snuggly and warm, it’s my physio attire, so it made sense to get another one. Buy one here

For a new release for #GerardCosmetics there is a Clean Base Eye Cream so I have to try this out, see if it helps my eyeshadow life, and cut crease techniques too. Buy one here it’s on Pre Order at the moment.

And for a wild card for me, I decided to try the Trio of BB+ illumination creams in Dorothy, Grace and Brigitte. They are Bronze, Copper/Rose Gold, and Gold. Buy them here forgive my bad swatches, I’m new to it

Once again I’ve been fortunate to receive some incredible #PR #GIFTED and for that I’m extremely grateful. I do this post because I want too, and not because it’s expected or required.

I got a different bundle this time, as we are fortunate to pick what we receive ourselves, which I’m stunned to see other brands don’t do, which I believe increases so much waste and contributes to fast make up.

So instead of hundreds of products that don’t suit skin tones, or personal preferences you can tailor it to meet your needs.

With that I decided I really needed a #GCSquad hoodie, to be warm as toast while winter starts, and it’s perfect for physio too. Worn for a few wintery walks and it’s so warm, so glad I picked this. buy here

Along with that I also purchased with my credits a T Shirt again great to represent the brand, and easy wear for physio. It’s cosy too. buy here

For something completely different, I went for a Melt Make up Balm, in Rose. It’s my favourite scent and I knew it wouldn’t kick off any of my allergies too. Arrived solid in tube, it needs warming to heat up the coconut oil and omg!! It’s changed my skin this past month I’ve been using it. Once warm it’s a real liquid, small amount goes a long long way. Smooth over make up, watch it literally melt away. Use a warm hot cloth, and all make up is removed without scrubbing, or multiple goes. Skin is left so soft, nourished and protected in chilly winds, that this is my game changer product. buy here

To top it all off, I just had to get some lip products, and I got a bundle which had a light up gloss, lip pencil in nude and hydra matte liquid lip. The formulas for these three are my favourites. Never thought I’d ditch my Kat Von D or Lime Crime, but I find the liquid lipsticks less drying and more wearable. Find all lip products here

Then my final purchase was the Brow Bar to go, to see if I could be swayed from #Wunder2 brows, and so far so good. But maybe the wunder pips it as it lasts 3 days. buy here

And better still, their #BlackFriday sales have started. Saving you a massive 51%

October #LookFantasticBox

Beauty Boxes, Blogger Reviews, Events, Make Up, Beauty, Skincare

This month I thought may have been themed for Halloween, but it’s not. It is in a gorgeous deep purple box though, which makes it feel a bit witchy for me!

Inside you have

#LookGoodFeelBetter Angled Blending Brush worth £8.99 create your complete eyeshadow with a blended diffused look.

#OhK! Chok Chok Holographic Fibre Face Mask worth £10.00 charged with citrus oils and skin boosting ascorbic acid, leaving skin bright and dewy.

#Eos Lip Balm in Shimmer Coral worth £6.50 a deep hydrating lip balm with a subtle tint and shimmer, infused with Shea butter, jojoba oil and vitamin e.

#TheBalm Foiled Again is the one I got, worth £8.00 it’s an intensely pigmented multi purpose shadows, very buttery soft too.

#Polaar The Genuine Lapland Hand Cream worth £9.90 I’ve tried the day cream which I loved, so I’m eager to try this out. Much needed it this weather. Rich in artic berries, it should be good.

And last but not least #WetBrush Detangler worth £7.99 a much needed tool with my hair, which is hellish. Helps to detangle without stretching and breaking the hair.

A bloody good box this month for me, glad there was no cleansers and fillers like eyeliners. As I have more than enough of those. But instead actual useful tools and products to use.

Bare Minerals x Glossybox

Beauty Boxes, Blogger Reviews, Events, Make Up, Beauty, Skincare

Since I bought the #BareMinerals concealer, I have wanted to buy more of the range. But they are pricey compared to my usual. So seeing this collaboration with Glossybox I knew it was my chance to try them out at an affordable price.

I’m not a glossybox subscriber so I bought this limited edition at £30 as a one off price.

#Skinlongevity Vital Power Serum it’s a deluxe mini 7.5ml and worth £7.20 it’s infused with Japanese long life herb extracts to help reduce the fine lines and wrinkles, while hydrating and nourishing skin.

#Lashtopia Mega Volume Mineral Based Mascara it’s a deluxe mini 6.5ml and worth £11.40 I really wanted this, though I felt it’s out of place in a skin based box. It’s not clumpy and feels light weight. Not as good as my Benefit Bang Mascara but easier to remove.

#Barepro Glow Highlighter Drops a full sized product and worth £23.00 with light reflecting mineral pearls these are perfect added to your foundation or moisturizer for a dewy glow. Or be daring and add direct onto cheekbones and browbones.

#Endless Summer Bronzer a deluxe mini 3.8g worth £9.90 a newly launched matte bronzing powder. Wonder if it will top my Hoola? Add instant warmth while hiding imperfections and reducing pores.

#Primetime Foundation Primer a full sized product and worth £25 this will help make your base last o much longer, with vitamin C and e added and packed with antioxidants. Smooth out fine lines, wrinkles and remove excess oil.

I loved this box and yes it’s a great introduction to #BareMinerals but I feel the mascara was out of place, instead I would of preferred a foundation, or cc cream to really create a solid base. But that’s just my opinion.

#AD Affiliate

This month I’ve been incredibly fortunate to be able to try out some incredible products. I am on their PR list and I do have an affiliate code.

However I’m under no obligation to post and share my love for them. I choose to do this on my own, as they are incredible products and very affordable too.

Yes I have an affiliate code, (SIRENMOONBEE) Which ive yiu 30% sitewide, however if you are in the UK like me, I suggest to you via BeautyBay my code only works on the official Gerard Cosmetics but I understand my UK readers will find it cheaper and easier to order inside the UK.

As you can see I’m getting a fairly large and well used items. Some are new to try out, such as the highlighter which I know already I’m definitely buying again and again!! I got Grace star powder available here a beautiful golden glow, subtle but there, my new found LOVE.

I also made sure I tried the much raved about lip pencils. And I’m so glad I did. I chose #Cher #SugarAndSpice #Ecstasy #MelrosePlace all various pinky nudes and perfectly me, no matter the occasion. I do prefer subtle make up, muted even as mostly it’s day wear. Buy them here Cher is here

Ecstasy is here

Melrose Place is here

Sugar And Spice is here

For lipsticks I decided against another Hydra Matte as I know I love them, and will return to them once mine are all gone, instead I bought a #LyricaCollab James Gloss which is deliciously dark and seductive. You can buy here

I love the light and mirror that comes with these glosses, so I had to get another gloss but in pink, to occasionally brush over the lip pencil colours. I got #PinkFrosting you can buy Here

And because I LOVE liquid lipsticks I had to try the #RoseGold Metallic liquid lipstick, and it’s even better than I imagined. Buy it Here

To finish off I bought the Stastruck Palette, I believe it’s for highlighting, but I’m going to use mine as eyeshadow, as they shimmer and shine so beautiful. When used wet with Mac primer the copper shade is breathtakingly beautiful. You can can one Here
