The last few days we’ve had exercise in the form of walking outside. Whether it’s as effective as physio is debatable, but it’s certainly more enjoyable at times. But I definitely need my walking stick and I stop frequently too.
Opting for picnic sarnies along the way, it’s been a good way to exercise, and bond with hubby. And better yet get some much needed fresh air too.
It all goes well for my overall fitness as we were trying uneven ground, different floor coverings such as mud, pebbles, grass. These help work the ankles, and knees and hips too.
We have walked around Ironbridge on the Sunday, and Monday we did the Sundial at Cannock Chase.
Tuesday we did more of Cannock chase as that’s our local. Each time we walk, although brief it’s really fulfilling. Though my operated knee is often playing up and stays for the rest of the day. And I definitely feel the glute not working well too.
I’m off to Occupational therapy and Hydrotherapy on Wednesday so I will see what they say about my hands which are admittedly painful this last few weeks.
